Wireless Computer Keyboard and Mouse

I’m a little bit behind the times. I never really saw the need for a wireless computer and a mouse before this week. After all, I have a desktop computer I cannot take anywhere anyway.

However, one day I realized it could be my computer remote. Therefore, bought a wireless keyboard and mouse, and I love it. These two items enhance my Netflix experience greatly. I use them as a remote for when I want to turn the volume up and down.

I can also use the controls on one computer to listen to music or watch TV while I work on my laptop sitting on the couch. What modern comfort! Generally, wireless keyboards work from a range of 30 feet away from the device to which they are connected.

Contact Lenses, Especially the Colored Ones

I personally think one of the coolest inventions ever is contact lenses. It’s not that physical appearance is everything. Isn’t-not by a long shot.

However, no one person could deny that they feel better about themselves when they look their best. This is true of kids who no longer wanted to wear dorky glasses in grade school, and it’s true of people who want to change their eye color.

The contact lenses in and of themselves are an awesome invention. The disposable ones are even better. However, nowadays if people don’t like their eye color they can find a colored pair that works for them.

Of course, the other option is to have some fun with it. I know sometimes people use a pear that contrasts totally with their natural color. I think they most want to scare people.

The Statue of Liberty

I must confess, I regret going to stand in line for a couple of hours I would. I remember riding past this monument almost every weekend when I lived on Staten Island for awhile.

Living in New York City was one of the most memorable eight months of my life. I was there before the fall of the World Trade Center, and I remember it all vividly. Thank God that the Statue of Liberty still stands tall.

However, that of course is not the only thing to see when in New York. I just think it represents what American is supposed to be about-letting the poor and hungry come here. This is supposed to be the land of opportunity.

However, that is all a totally different issue. I just wrote this post to let you know that one of the best inventions given to us by France is the Statue of Liberty. I saw it, though I didn’t climb to the top of it.
